In today's business world, corporate represents many layers of ideals. Good office space is paramount to that corporate look that employees and clients try to upkeep. In a hustling city like Dhaka, the term "corporate" deals with many factors, levels, and images. With such an idea, here we will project an organization named Beta One Investment Limited and its changing morals towards the future. Our ideology is to create an office environment that helps set the tone of work.

Beta One is a 3500 sq feet office, but it was about to change its location to a smaller place of 2000 sq feet. It was a challenge for the architect and the company itself. Thus, they consulted with Architect Raihan Alamgir to most efficiently use the space and make the office better than ever.

The first challenge was the new place at Medona Tower, Mohakhali, a flat slab structure with a clean height of 8'4'' on the 13th floor, which is very low for a proper commercial space. So, creating an illusion of freedom was the only solution we could think of, starting by making sense of creating height by reflecting the bottom and bringing daylight more to complete openness by demolishing the existing and replacing it with a new design.

Moreover, another challenge was time limitedness. In 23 days, this whole interior design and execution were to be made possible. It was almost impossible to do so where design illusions were to be created. However, we converted this given 23 days into 46 days by the batch-wise and shift-wise working project. The management had firmly handled the chaos of different contractors and laborers, as all types of work were happening. Someone was breaking the wall, and another was putting on the new mirrors or ACs—hats off to the Archetype LTD team for managing the cacophony of work and workers.

Architect Raihan Alamgir wanted to give the space an electronic feel. All glass, furniture, and electrical wiring were sent percent been used form of existing. Since the glass needed to be used, we have put a Mondrian pattern for black curtain framing to utilize at types and sizes of glass. The use of color was strained down with the image of the electronic idea. The basic shades of black, silver, white, and red were simple to give it a dubstep music feeling for a natural and synthetic match.

It is said that the first look creates the primary image, and the first space in any office is its lobby. And was not any less than a challenge as the space was only 8' wide, which could not create its great vibe. However, we could not deny the client's request. So to give it a great essence, mirror polish has been used on the side wall and the roof. So that the space seemed like a quartile, it means just triple. The glass is used to bring in the light and also used reflectors as a mirror, silver paint, and silver cable trays. Also, all the walkway ceiling is mirror work to have a double-height feeling, and all exposed ducts, cables, and shelter are painted with a silver coating over cubicles and workstations.

Since this is an investment banking office, it includes money, disappointment, and happiness. Who would be calmer at a crazy time when a person sees his distracted face? To give an escape from seeing oneself is the most relaxing in all situations. The idea of the mirror worked not only to create an illusion but also to make an escape from the hard-core financial business.

Yes, of course, there was a budget constraint. We had to remove and compensate with a few design articles for that. After all the ups and downs, obstacles, and challenges, we submitted the project within the tie. It has been highly appreciated locally and, to some extent, internationally. This architectural piece is given a new hype of appreciation.
